The popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is set to go off air temporarily as the host and comedian Kapil Sharma would be unavailable to shoot episodes due to his forthcoming USA tour.

Kapil has recently announced his month-long USA tour which is set to begin from June and go till the beginning of July. Besides this, the comedian has other work commitments also, considering it, the makers of the show have decided to take a short break.

A source close to Pinkvilla stated, “Kapil Sharma recently announced the USA and Canada tour, which will begin in June and go on till the beginning of July, so the team will be busy with that. Besides, they have a few other work commitments too, and with all of it in hand, they best thought of taking a small break from the show and then returning with a new season a few months later.”

However, it is being reported that before beginning his overseas tour, the show host will pre-shot a few episodes of the comedy show. Also, the break would be probably short, of a few weeks and the show will return with a new season a few months later.

For unversed, this is not the first time that the comedy show is going for a break. Last year too, the makers pulled the plug on the show when Kapil became a father for the second time in January 2021 and came back in June 2021. Currently, Kapil is also busy shooting in Orissa for his upcoming Bollywood film directed by Nandita Das.

Meanwhile, Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show is currently airing its third season. The show also features Archana Puran Singh , Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda , Bharti Singh , Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar .
