Rahul Bhatt claims his father said he is a bastard

Making a shocking statement, noted Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul, who shot to fame after his alleged connection with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks’ accused David Headley came into limelight, has said that his father said he was a “bastard”. "My father said he was a bastard. Ultimately we are all selling something to grab eyeballs. So I called myself a super bastard," said Rahul, who has come out with a book,Headley and I, that talks about his troubled relationship with his father, his struggle during his growing days and the David Headley controversy.

On the question that his father must be really hurt by what he has said in the book, “Why should he be hurt? The book is the essence of my life. I have articulated my innermost feelings. It is not a platform that I'm using to settle any score. I am a survivor and the book talks about my unusual and unconventional journey.

My family has been supportive of me. Pooja has bought many copies of the book, which she will be distributing. My father is in the process of reading it”. He said, “My father said he was a bastard. Ultimately, we are all selling something na... to get eyeballs, so I said it”.
