Amitabh Bachchan calls hospitalisation rumours fake, details inside

    Reports of Amitabh Bachchan having undergone an angioplasty had taken the internet by storm. Now, Big B has quashed the reports calling them "Fake news."

    Reports of Amitabh Bachchan's hospitalization flooded social media on Thursday morning, sparking speculation about going through an angioplasty procedure. Fans all over the country were worried about the actor's health. However, neither the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, nor the actor's representatives commented about the admission or discharge of the 81-year-old icon.

    Despite swirling rumours about his health, Amitabh Bachchan was seen enthusiastically cheering on his team, Majhi Mumbai, during the final match of the Indian Street Premier League against the Tigers of Kolkata at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. Viral videos documented the spirited presence of the Sholay actor as he passionately supported his team.

    In a video circulating on social media, Big B is seen leaving the stadium when a member of the crowd inquires about his health. Initially gesturing that everything is fine, the actor later responds to the question, "How are you? All fine?" with "Fake news." 

    Reports surfaced later in the afternoon, with some suggesting that he visited Kokilaben Hospital for a routine checkup, while others claimed he underwent angioplasty for a blockage in his leg or an artery. But for now all is well with the actor and fans of the actor are also at peace. 

    On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Kalki AD 2898 which will also star Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The Sholay actor was was last seen in a cameo appearance in Tiger Shroff's Ganapath.
