    Legendary singer Asha Bhosle is all set to have a grand birthday celebration with a spectacular concert in Dubai. Though the singer usually spends her birthdays with near and dear ones, she decided to make her 90th birthday different. The concert will be held at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena today i.e. September 8, 2023. Taking to Instagram, Asha also shared a glimpse of her Broadway-style live performance rehearsals in Dubai with 18 musicians and 22 dancers.

    In a recent media interaction, Lata Mangeshkar's sister also expressed her excitement about the biggest 90th birthday celebration. “I like doing extraordinary things. I decided to do a spectacular concert on my 90th birthday. I doubt if anyone in the world has achieved this feat. Music has been my life. It has given me so much. This birthday, however, is different. I shall be 90. I thought, what better way to turn 90 than to do a concert,”she told Indian Express.     Asha has established herself as a musical giant with super hit songs like Chura Liya Tumne, Do Lafzon Ki Yeh, Kehdoon Tumhein among others in her eight-decade long career. She also brought her versatility to the recording studios to become one of the most sought-after playback singers. When asked about who portrayed her songs best onscreen. She took name of Kajol and Vidya Balan along with yesteryear actresses including Sridevi, Madhubala, Hema Malini, Zeenat Aman, Jaya Bachchna and Mumtaz among others. She also revealed about her favorite co-singers. “All my co-singers were wonderful in their own way. But to name a few, I would say Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar and Ghulam Ali were probably my favourites,” she added.

    Besides singing, Asha has recently found happiness in online games. In the recent Instagram post, she shared a video wherein she could be seen busy playing games on her phone. “My latest profession, online gaming!” she captioned the post, which garnered love and praises from her hardcore fans. “Everyone should enjoy life just this ..... Glad to see you well and healthy ..... Respect,” commented a fan.
