Farah Khan’s funny birthday post for Karan Johar is sure to make you laugh | Watch

Director-producer Karan Johar turned 52 yesterday (May 25). Many Bollywood celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, and Riteish Deshmukh, sent birthday wishes to Karan through heartfelt Instagram posts. But director-choreographer Farah Khan Kunder posted a funny video with Karan where she mocks him for wearing a ‘baba suit’.

Farah Khan’s birthday wish for Karan Johar

Taking to Instagram, Farah Khan posted a video that starts with Farah saying “It’s Karan Johar’s birthday and I am here and I feel he is in his birthday suit and now I’m gonna check him out.” She then removes the blanket from Karan who is seen wearing a navy blue night suit, paired with transparent sunglasses. After Farah removes the blanket, Karan says, “I can’t believe I’m in bed with you on my birthday,” to which Farah replies, “I thought this is birthday suit, but he is wearing a baba suit.”

Later, Karan says, “But I’m in bed with you and that’s a problem for you, not me. I love you, happy birthday to me,” and Farah replies, “Happy Birthday Karan.” Farah captioned the post, “In bed with the birthday boy!! @karanjohar .. u know there s nowhere else id rather be! I love you!”

Celebrities from Bollywood and Karan’s fans also extended birthday wishes for Karan in the comment section, while also appreciating Farah and Karan’s funny banter. Actress Tanishaa Mukerji wrote, “Happy happy birthday karannnnn!!! @karanjohar,” while Maniesh Paul wrote, “Baba suit hahahahaha.”

One user comically compared Farah to a hostel warden and wrote, “@farahkhankunder This reminds me of my "Hostel warden" who used to come at 5 am and throw our blankets to wake up,” while another wrote, “Love the banter between u two....crazyyy.”

Farah shared this video on her Instagram stories and wrote, “1 day late...Happy Birthday @karanjohar..u know how much I want to get in bed with you.”

On the professional front, Karan announced that he would soon start working on a directorial project. On May 25, he shared a picture of himself holding a file that says, ‘Untitled narration draft. Directed by Karan Johar. 25th May 2024.”
