‘Image sudharne ke liye…’: Raj Kundra starrer UT 69 trailer triggers mixed reactions from netizens

    Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra is all set to act in his upcoming biopic, UT69. As the trailer released today, the netizens shared their mixed reactions.

    Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been receiving a lot of attention because of his upcoming movie UT69. The film, which is based on a true story, is all set to release on November 3, 2023. The trailer, which was unveiled today( October 18, 2023), traces Kundra's experience in prison. For those unaware, the businessman was arrested and accused as the primary suspect in a pornographic film case back in July 2021. He was placed in judicial detention in September of that same year and later released on bond.

    As soon as the trailer was released, the netizens chimed in to drop their reactions. Netizens trolled Kundra for playing himself in the biopic. One of the users wrote- “Apni bio pic me khud hi acting kr rha hai.” Another comment read, “Kam aisa karo ki puri duniya muh dekhna chahe.”People also called it a publicity stunt by Raj to improve his image, one of the netizen wrote- “Sahi hai pehle kaand Karo fir uspey movie ya series banao aur apne kaand ko chupao story change karke fir naam bhi bana aur paisa bhi.” While another comment read, “Image sudharne ke liye movie hi bana di👏🏻... same yhi sanju ke time hua th.”

    However, there were some people who showed their support to Kundra. “Don't really want to get into who was right and wrong but this is going to be an epic cinematic experience,” wrote a netizen. There was another comment which said “Rockstar, Trailer is Mind Boggling!!!Best wishes X”. Another fan wrote “For people who trolled for his mistake. Eet ka jawab patar se nahi Mount Everest se diya hain.”

    After so much hype, Kundra finally took off the mask with a broad smile for the media at the trailer launch. UT69 marks Raj’s acting debut in Bollywood. The film is directed by Shahnawaz Ali and backed by SVS Studio in collaboration with The Bigger Picture Films. After enduring so much hate and trolls, it will be quite intriguing to see whether Raj Kundra will be able to reclaim his position in people's hearts or not?
