    Madhuri Dixit shares a heartwrenching post on her social media handle a day after she lost her mother Snehlata Dixit . The actress penned down her surreal feelings after she woke up this morning to find her mother’s room empty. Her mother breathed her last on Sunday(March 12) at the age of 91.

    Taking to her Instagram handle, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress dropped a throwback picture wherein she could be seen posing with her mother. Dressed in ethnic attire, she is seen smiling with her mother, who is seated on a couch in the living area. “Woke up this morning to find Aai’s room empty. It feels surreal. She taught us to embrace and celebrate life. She gave so much to so many people. We will miss her dearly but she will live on in our memories. Her wit, positivity, and grace were infectious. We will celebrate her life together through our memories. Om shanti om,” she captioned the post. Take a look:

    Yesterday, Madhuri along with her husband Shriram Nene and her younger son Ryan was spotted at Worli’s Vaikunth Dham for her mother’s last rites. Even at this difficult time, she greeted the paparazzi with folded hands. Earlier that day, she shared the tragic news in a joint statement that read, “Our beloved Aai, Snehalata Dikshit, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones.”

    Workwise, Madhuri was last seen in Amazon Prime movie Maja Maa directed by Anand Tiwari. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhoumik and Barkha Singh in prominent roles. She had made her digital debut with mystery family drama, The Fame Game. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli, and backed by Karan Johar, the series also has Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran, Muskkaan Jaferi, and Suhasini Mulay in key roles.
