Noor Malabika Das suffered from depression, reveals her aunt

Since yesterday, many in the tinsel town have not been able to come to terms with the sudden demise of the former air hostess turned actress Noor Malabika Das. Her body was found in a decomposed state at her Lokhandwala flat (in Andheri, Mumbai) by the neighbours who called the Oshiwara police after they started getting a foul smell from her flat. The late actress was reportedly found to be hanging from the ceiling fan of her house.

The latest update on the case is that, as per a news report in The Times Of India, Noor Malabika Das’ paternal aunt has now spoken to the media that the late actress was suffering from depression.

As per a report in the aforementioned publication, it has been said that Noor Malabika Das’ paternal aunt Arati Das told that the former hailed from Assam’s Karimganj and that she had landed up in Mumbai with high hopes and confidence of making it big as an actress.

Noor Malabika Das’ paternal aunt Arati Das added that the former was finding it really difficult to achieve and accomplish her dream of making it big as an actress in the tinsel town. She also added that they understand Malabika was unsatisfied with her achievements, which had forced her to take the drastic step.

For the unversed, a news report in ANI stated that the neighbours of the former air hostess turned actress Malabika Das had informed the nearby police station about a foul smell which was coming from the same apartment in which she was staying. It is only after the police officials broke open the door of the said apartment, they found the decomposed body of Malabika Das.

And, during the process of their regular investigations, the police officials found Malabika Das’ medicines, her mobile phone and also a diary. Post that, her body was sent for post mortem as no one from her family came forward to claim the body. The police are now furthering their investigations.

The 37-years-old Malabika Das was recently seen in the much talked about web series The Trail, which starred Kajol in the lead.
