Salman Khan expresses concern over use of firecrackers inside theatre during Tiger 3 screening

    Following an incident of firecrackers inside a Mumbai theatre, Salman Khan issued a statement expressing concern over the safety of the audience. During the screening of his latest release Tiger 3, fans were seen bursting firecrackers.The incident caught the eyes of the police and an FIR was registered under Section 112 in Chavani police station in the case and two people were detained.

    Taking to his X handle, the superstar wrote, "I'm hearing about fireworks inside theatres during Tiger3. This is dangerous. Let's enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe." The incident took place inside a theatre in Malegaon, Maharashtra. This is not the first time that the incident has happened. During the release of Antim:The Final Truth, fans burst crackers in a cinema hall.

    As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, netizens reacted to the incident. A user wrote. “Wtf. Whoever did this should be booked with attempt to murder charges.” The second user commented, “Uneducated people Put risk to their lives as well as others for movies is a shame…” “Fireworks allow kisne kiya theatre me.     Meanwhile, Salman’s Tiger 3 was released worldwide on Diwali, i.e. November 12, 2023. The film turned out to be Salman’s highest opener, earning over Rs 44 crore at the box office. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film also has Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles. Shah Rukh Khan made a special appearance in the film. According to the trends, the spy thriller is likely to get more than Rs 60 crore at the box office. As per Industry tracker Sacnilk, the film had already done a business of nearly Rs 27.12 crore, a humungous number with evening and night shows yet to roll out. The two-day total till 3 pm stands at Rs 71.62 crore as per reports.
