Suhana Khan illuminated the red carpet in a floor-length shimmery gown at the star-studded The Archies premiere night in Mumbai. The starlet showcased a perfect blend of sophistication and allure in the body-hugging gown. She added the extra layer of glamour with opulent silver stiletto heels which elevated her stature, both figuratively and literally. However, the actress changed to comfortable brown platform heels during the premiere, thereby breaking the stereotypes.

Several videos surfaced online that drew netizens’ attention to Suhana’s changed footwear during the premiere. The starkid arrived with her family wearing silver stilettos, however, when she posed with her co-stars Khushi Kapoor and Dot, she can be seen wearing different footwear. Certainly, the actress preferred comfort over style simply unaffected by expectations posed on budding actresses.

Earlier, Suhana won hearts when she commented on sustainability clothing, citing Alia Bhatt's recent move of repeating her wedding saree at the National Award event. She had said, “Recently, Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards and I think as somebody with a platform, who has an influence, I thought that was incredible and a much-needed message. And if Alia Bhatt can re-wear her wedding saree, then we can also repeat an outfit for a party. We don't realise that making new garments creates waste which impacts our biodiversity and environment. So, it's very important."

Meanwhile, Suhana is making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies alongside Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. The musical drama is an Indian adaptation of American comic of the same name, which revolves around the lives of seven teenagers. Backed by Akhtar and her longtime collaborator Reema Kagti under their production house Tiger Baby, Graphic India and Archie Comics, the fil is set to stream on Netflix on December 7, 2023.
