Aamir Khan reveals collaboration plans with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, hints at Andaz Apna Apna 2

Aamir Khan, who was spotted shaking a leg with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar recently celebrated his 59th birthday.The video of the three Khans dancing together to the beats of Naatu Naatu had taken the internet by storm. Aamir, while hosting an Instagram live session on his birthday last Thursday, entertained questions from fans, one of whom asked about the possibility of a joint project involving the three Khans and that's when Aamir dropped hints about a potential collaboration.

Aamir in his reply to the fan answered, “I also think that the three of us should work on a film together. And when we were together, me, Salman and Shah Rukh, we talked about this that during our careers, the three of us should try to work in a film together. For us, and also for our audience."

The Dangal actor added, "Now let’s see what happens ahead. I hope we get a good story so we get to do this. I think all three of us are very keen to work with each other. It’s been quite a while now. We should definitely the right time. This is the right time.”

During the same Instagram live session, Aamir Khan also provided an update on Andaz Apna Apna 2, mentioning that Rajkumar Santoshi has been diligently working on the sequel's script. Aamir shared, “I have just learnt that Rajkumar Santoshi is working on the script of Andaz Apna Apna. This news is completely fresh. He has just started so we can’t show too much excitement. I’m glad that he is thinking about it because I think it will be a great film for all of us to do and for the audiences to watch.”

Andaz Apna Apna released in 1994 but did not do quite well at the ticket windows at the time of its release. However, the film gained the much needed recognition in the later on and has become a cult classic comedy now.The film starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles with other actors like Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor also starring in the film in significant roles. On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in Sitare Zameen Par.
