Avatar: The Way of Water latest trailer is out and it gives us our best look at the second battle for Pandora

    The latest trailer gives us more insight into what we can expect from the highly anticipated sequel when it hits the big screen next month.

    The latest trailer for director James Cameron 's highly anticipated Avatar: Way of Water just dropped and while it contains only small snippets of new footage it does gives us a better look at the conflict between the Na'vi and humans.

    While the plot of the movie remains under wraps, it is clear from the trailers we have seen so far that Jake Sully and his family are forced to flee their homeland after humans invade the planet a second time.

    They are then forced to seek shelter with a different tribe but the human invaders are still on their backs. It is clear that Jake will have to convince his new allies to help stop the second invasion of Pandora.

    We also know that Stephen Lang will be reprising his role as Colonel Miles Quaritch and will be serving as the main antagonist of the movie.

    The movie consists of an ensemble cast that includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Jamie Flatters, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Bailey Bass, and Filip Geljo.

    The movie is one of three planned sequels with the filming for the third installment having already wrapped and the fourth installment is currently halfway through production.

    Avatar 2 is expected to collect double the weekend gross of the original just from the US box office and is estimated to break its global; weekend collection of 242 million.

    Avatar: The Way of Water will hit theaters on December 16th.
