San Diego Comic-Con kicked off yesterday after a two-year hiatus, with one of the main reveals being the first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

The trailer looks exciting and fun and follows a group of thieves led by Chris Pine who is trying to save the world.

The trailer also sets up an epic heist that the heroes must pull off to save the day.

The movie will also be a reboot of the franchise after the disastrous first movie, which came out in 2000.

The trailer release was followed by a panel of the movies cast at SDCC

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is co-written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

And is based on the popular tabletop game, Honor Among Thieves, and is set in the Forgotten Realms which is described as a world of strange lands, dangerous creatures, and mighty deities, where magic and supernatural phenomena are quite real.

One of the highlights of the trailer was the comradery between Chris Pin and Michelle Rodriguez.

Another standout was Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page who will be playing a paladin in the movie and pulls off some impressive action sequences in the trailer.

Of course, the best thing about the trailer was the humor and it looks like the movie doesn't take itself too seriously, which is a good thing considering that the 2000 movie too itself too seriously.

Chris Pine plays the role of Elgin, a Bard who is the leader of the group, Michelle Rodriguez as Holga, a Barbarian, Regé-Jean Page as Xenk, a Paladin, Justice Smith as Simon, a Sorcerer, and Sophia Lillis as Doric, a Druid.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is set to release on March 3, 2023
