'King se panga': Prabhas gets trolled for Salaar box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki

    The news has come as a surprise for several Shah Rukh Khan’s fans as Prabhas has declared a box office war with King Khan’s Dunki which is also scheduled to release on the same date.

    Prabhas on Friday confirmed the release date of his much-awaited film Salaar with a new poster. Earlier, the film was supposed to hit the screens on September 28, clashing with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War. Because of its pending post-production work, the film is now pushed to December 22 for release. The news has come as a surprise for several Shah Rukh Khan’s fans as Prabhas has declared a box office war with King Khan’s Dunki which is also scheduled to release on the same date.

    “Coming Bloody soon!,” the Adipurush actor wrote while announcing the release date on Instagram alongside the poster in which he flaunts his rugged look holding a sword. Soon after the announcement, a social media war took place between Prabhas and SRK’s fans. In the comment section. one of the users wrote, “King Se Panga Le rha hai” Another commented, “Salaar ko salwaar banayega Dunki…” "Back 2 Back ATBB vs Back 2 Back Disaster… once you can ignore SRK but you can’t ignore Rajkumar Hirani… he have a legacy 🔥🔥🔥King is known for Clash winner since,” added a netizen.

    On the other hand, Prabhas’ fans supported Salaar. “Only salaar 🔥 because we are South audience Dunki is a shit,” wrote user. “Dunki to pakka postpone hoga,” added another user. Another fan added, “Salaar will be Larger than Blockbuster hit of 2023, Mark my words.”

    Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. It is backed by Hombale Films, the team behind KGF and Kantara. Undoubtedly, the movie will face tough competition at the box office with Shah Rukh’s Dunki, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu in a pivotal role.
