'Looks like Zero Part 2': Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal starrer Dunki teaser leaves netizens divided

The first glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki has not been received by viewers as expected. The makers dropped the teaser on the superstar's 58th birthday and left fans surprised. While fans root for the film calling it another blockbuster, a section of netizens find it average and an extension of Shah Rukh’s 2018 film Zero.

Sharing the Drop 1 of Dunki, Shah Rukh wrote, “A story of simple and real people trying to fulfill their dreams and desires. Of friendship, love, and being together… Of being in a relationship called Home!A heartwarming story by a heartwarming storyteller. It’s an honour to be a part of this journey and I hope you all come along with us. The #DunkiDrop1 is here…”

Reacting to the clip, one of the users wrote, “#Dunki Believe it or not #SRK𓃵 acting in Dunki specially in the last portion is same as Zero Sm 2 sm, has looks is full sm As Zero So flop is loading Srk is fantastic in drama, emotional, angry But in comedy he is not.” “#Dunki might not make millions at ny BO. But it connects with millions and BILLIONS of the SRK-ians across the globe. He has amassed more money from just 2 movies than ny star in their bank account! Now time to riot the critics,” wrote the second user.

For the unversed, Dunki is clashing with Prabhas starrer Salaar on Christmas 2023. “Not an impressive first teaser. looks like Zero Part 2. If #Salaar turns out to be a good movie then this movie will struggle at box office,” reacted a netizen.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film is set to arrive in theatres on Christmas 2023.
