Pathaan: John Abraham calls co-star Shah Rukh Khan a ‘darling’; reveals when shoot will be complete

Soon after returning to Mumbai from Spain, where he was shooting for Siddharth Anand’s upcoming action entertainer Pathaan , John Abraham began gearing up for the release of his next film Attack. Co-starring Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez, the action thriller will see John as an army veteran who has been turned into a cybertronic humanoid super-soldier to fight terrorists. The film will arrive in theatres on 1st April and the team is currently busy on a promotional spree. Much to our delight, John opened up about Pathaan during one such media event.

John was asked about his action sequences with co-star Shah Rukh Khan , who will be making his Bollywood comeback after almost four years, post a self-imposed hiatus. While he could not divulge details, the handsome hunk did shower his co-actor with praises. ETimes quoted John saying, “I am not in a position to say much on that. I can only tell you that Shah Rukh is a darling. You all will be excited to see him back.” For the uninitiated, while SRK and Deepika Padukone will be seen as spies in Pathaan, John will be playing the antagonist.

John even revealed that the team is planning to complete shoot of Pathaan by April this year. He stated, “As I speak to you, I still have to go back and shoot for 'Pathaan'. I was supposed to finish it in December, but now I will finish it in April.” The action entertainer will be arriving in theatres on 25th January next year, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. We can’t wait to see Shah Rukh, John and Deepika shine together on the big screen!
