Sivakarthikeyan's sci-fi comedy 'Ayalaan' might be clashing with Dhanush's Captain Miller this Diwali

    Ayalaan which has been in post-production for a while now is eyeing a Diwali release, which means it will clash with Dhanush 's period-action movie Captain Miller .

    The project is the actor's first collaboration with director R. Ravikumar and is a science fiction movie with music composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman.

    The movie's cast includes Sivakarthikeyan , Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, and Yogi Babu.

    In the movie, Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of Raghu who has a chance encounter with an alien. Sivakarthikeyan fans have a lot to be happy about in 2023, the rising star of Tamil cinema has three other projects lined up for the new year.

    The yet-to-be-titled project will be directed by noted Telugu director Harish Shankar, known for movies like 'Gabbar Singh', and 'Duvvada Jagannadham'. His last movie was the 2019 movie 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh', which was a remake of the hit Tamil movie Jigarthanda.

    Sivakarthikeyan may be playing the lead in veteran action director AR Murugadoss 's next project. While there was a rumor floating around that the director will be working with Silambarasan, it seems that the project may have been put on hold.

    Sivakarthikeyan is currently on the set of director Madonne Ashwin's 'Maaveeran'. The movie is an action thriller and the actor will be playing the role of a cartoon artist.

    Meanwhile, Dhanush's Captain Miller is currently in production and has completed 70% of its shoot. The movie is a period drama marking Matheswaran's directorial debut and his first collaboration with Dhanush.

    The movie will also star Hollywood actor Edward Sonnenblick, who last played the role of Edward in SS Rajamouli's RRR.

    The movie will also be the first time Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar will work alongside Dhanush, making Captain Miller his second Tamil movie after Rajinikanth's Jailer.

    The rest of the cast includes Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken, Priyanka Arulmohan, and Sumesh Moor.

    Noted composer G.V. Prakash Kumar will be handling the music for the movie, with Shreyas Krishna in charge of the cinematography and Nagooran will be serving as editor.
