'Upgrading herself by time' : Sara Ali Khan's intense act in her murder mystery flick Gaslight's trailer leaves fans impressed, watch

The makers of the Sara Ali Khan starrer Gaslight released the trailer of the film sometime back leaving netizens on the edge with the gritty subject. The movie boasts to be a riveting murder mystery with a tint of presuamble supernatural to it. It has been directed by Pawan Kripalani and also stars Chitrangada Singh and Vikrant Massey in lead roles.

The trailer of the movie begins with Sara Ali Khan’s character Meesha who is a physically disabled girl who returns home to her father’s palatial house who seems to be a royalty of sorts. By the looks of it, Sara’s character seemed to be estranged from her father and has returned home after a long time. We see Chitrangada Singh welcoming her character who seems to be Sara’s stepmother. However, Sara can be seen worried and disturbed by her father’s disappearance from the house. She seems to ask everyone about his whereabouts but nobody seems to help her.

We then see Sara Ali Khan taking the help of her father’s right hand man Vikrant Massey to find him. However, she soon gets embroiled in a chain of terrifying incidents and attacks on her along with a haunting revelation that suggests that somebody might have murdered her father brutally. By the looks of it, Gaslight seems to be an exhilarating whodunnit which will keep one on their toes, The netizens were all praises for Sara to push her boundaries when it comes to exploring different genres in her filmography and trying to improve her acting chops drastically. One of the fans stated, “Sara is upgrading herself by time.” While another fan said that this movie can be a game changer for the actress like Highway was for Alia Bhatt.
