The Incredibles 2 and Cars 3 in the pipeline, Disney confirms

The long wait is over for the fans of the 2004 film, The Incredibles, who have been waiting to hear the news that a sequel for the same is in the making. Yes, finally it’s confirmed that The Incredibles 2 will happen, certainly. To increase the excitement meter, it has been announced that Disney-owned Pixar Animation Studios is developing Cars 3 too and a bunch of talking automobiles will be on the big screen once again.

The announcements were made by Disney CEO Robert Iger during a conference call with shareholders and D23 members. Furthermore, the news of The Incredibles 2 has arrived along with the news that the original film will be re-released in 3D. Disney has more inputs about the same like Brad Bird is working on the story for the sequel and it ensures that the story of the second part will be fantastic in Bird’s hands. On the other hand expectations were not quite high about the third part of Cars but as the franchise has seen massive profits in its journey so far a third edition is not a huge surprise for anyone.
