The country is under lockdown induced by the coronavirus scare. The government has imposed a lockdown on everything. There are huge losses being incurred by the film industry and other industries as well. No films are releasing, no shootings have begun, the future is looking pretty bleak with cinema halls especially. Sets are being demolished because they can’t be used.

Earlier it was director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who decided, the Alia Bhatt starrer- Gangubai Kathiawadi's Kamathipura set will be pulled down due to the monsoon. The filmmaker was reported to incur huge losses because the sets remained unused and it also faced the threat of the monsoons.

And now, Dongri to Dubai [a web series] that was being produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment too have been considering doing the same.

The web series 'Dongri to Dubai' has Laila Majnu actor Avinash Tiwary in the lead and it started in early February and now it's set was created to differentiate Dongri and Dubai in Madh (a Mumbai suburb) Unfortunately due to the lockdown, that set is lying unused.
