Is Marvel Studios planning on bringing back Ultron in phase five of the MCU?
According to a new report the stuido is planning on bringing back the villionous android in a future live acion series or moive.
One of the more memorable villous in the MCU has to be Ultron voiced by James Spader, the psychotic Android created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, Ultron wanted to destroy most of the earth before being stopped by the Avengers.
And after his recent appearance in the animated series What...if? it seems that we could also be seeing his return in a live-action project.
According to a recent report by The Cosmic Circus "According to one of our sources, the Ultron A.I. was not destroyed in the wake of Avengers: Age of Ultron and remnants of the Ultron A.I. are still active but 'dormant.'
It was a long-running fan theory that Ultron was not completely wiped out by Vision at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron and instead managed to survive somehow.
Their three potential shows in which Ultron could make his comeback is the upcoming Vision Quest series whuch wll focus on White Vision and his quest to come to terms with his existence.
There is also a chance he could make his return in the Armor Wars series, and finally the upcoming Wonderman project because of the connection the two characters share in the comics.
One of Ultron's biggest motivations is his hatred for his "Father" Toney Stark, so it will be interesting to see his reaction to the death of his most hated enemy and who will be the new focus of his anger.
It is a good thing the studio will bring the character as there and plenty of story arcs that they can explore with him and whenever we do see him next Ultron will be a great addition to the next phase in the MCU.
Meanwhile, MCU fans are gearing up for the next phase of the MCU which will kick next year with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and will also be the big-screen debut of the next major villain in the MCU Kang the Conquerer.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will hit the big screen on 17 February 2023.
