Anupamaa fame Paras Kalnawat on why he quit the show : 'Sahi ke liye ladne ki taaqat har kisi...'

Ever since Paras Kalnawat quit Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa, he has made some explosive comments about the show. After almost a year, he has made yet another shocking claim that 80 per cent of the cast would want to walk out of the show if given a chance. It so happened that Paras started an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram recently. And one of the fans asked him why he left the Anupamaa. And the actor’s reply read, "I would be thankful to the makers for giving me such a wonderful show. But friends, to reach somewhere it is necessary to leave from somewhere and I believe that I am in a much better and calmer place. To be honest, if given a chance, 80% of the cast would want to leave. Not everyone has the strength to take risks and fight for what is right.”

For the unversed, Paras played the role of Samar Shah in Anupamaa. His contract was terminated in July 2022 due to a breach of contract. It was alleged that he had left the show to participate in the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10 without informing the makers. However, Paras claimed that he had nothing left to do in the show. He was not happy with his character and tried to negotiate with the makers but all went in vain. Later, he also added that his termination was a PR tactic as he had no idea about termination as it happened overnight.

Meanwhile, Paras is currently seen in the serial Kundali Bhagya. He essays the role of Shraddha Arya’s son Rajveer on the show. During the session, one of the fans also asked about his views on Shraddha and he said, “This industry is surely never getting anyone like her. Pure soul and a mind-blowing performer. Heera Hai Heera, meri aur aap sabki favourite Shraddha Arya.”
