A controversy has erupted after the release of the Siddharth Shukla’s last music video ‘ Jeena Zaroori Hai ’. The video which stars the late actor has irked the netizens as the music video has allegedly been released against the wishes of Siddharth Shukla’s family.

‘Jeena Zaroori Hai’ also starring Vishal Kotian and Deepika Tripathy released on Friday and fans of Siddharth Shukla instead of being pleased to see the actor’s final unreleased project are demanded for the video to be taken down.

On Friday, Vishal Kotian said during an interaction with the press that he shot with Siddharth Shukla for the music video in 2019. The family of the late actor has previously raised objections to the release of the song and sought the makers of any of Siddharth’s unfinished projects to seek permission before releasing them.

A source close to Times of India has now claimed that Siddharth shot for the video in Odisha with actress Deepika Tripathy in 2018 and being unhappy with the project after shooting a few scenes, he decided to part ways.

The source also claims that actor Vishal Kotian is lying about having worked with Siddharth on the project in 2019 as the actor had already ditched it in 2018. Siddharth was in the Bigg Boss house in 2019 when Vishal claims he worked with the late actor on the project.

Vishal who was a part of Bigg Boss 15 had been hinting at the music video’s arrival for some time now. It has been said by the source of the publication that Vishal was brought in by the makers of Jeena Zaroori Hai and shot the song alone with Deepika.

It was after Siddharth’s demise that the makers decided to use the footage featuring the late actor and add it as a separate track in the story that unfolds in the music video. In the song which has been released Vishal Kotian and Siddharth’s characters never cross paths.

While family of Siddharth hasn’t raised any objection to the song’s release yet with a statement, the fans of the late actor have taken a stand to boycott the music video.
