The Facts of Life stars renunited for Drew Barrymore's 49th birthday and she couldn't keep calm

Drew Barrymore's 49th birthday turned into a memorable celebration. During Thursday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, she was taken aback when surprised by The Facts of Life cast in honor of her special day. Hearing the iconic sitcom's theme song, she couldn't help but shout the lyrics before being rendered speechless.

Next, Lisa Whelchel, Nancy McKeon, and Mindy Cohn joined Barrymore and Ross Mathews on stage. Overwhelmed with excitement, Barrymore exclaimed, "Oh, my God, do you know what a gift this is for everyone? I mean, you are our life!"

The Facts of Life Cast Surprises Drew Barrymore

As if the reunion wasn't already special, the former co-stars surprised Barrymore with a personalized The Facts of Life bag — a unique memento exclusively given to the cast and crew. Inside were baked goods, a heartfelt tribute to the late Charlotte Rae, who portrayed Edna Garrett on the sitcom that aired for nine seasons from 1979 to 1988.

Barrymore shared with the trio the profound impact the NBC series had on her life, expressing how she saw herself in them, as they navigated through life by raising themselves and each other, with Mrs. Garrett serving as the guiding force at the helm of it all.

Drew Barrymore's Wienermobile Surprise

In Thursday's episode, the Scream star was blindfolded and led outside to fulfill a childhood dream: riding in the Wienermobile. After a suspenseful countdown, she removed the blindfold and shrieked with joy at the sight of the iconic 27-foot hot dog-shaped vehicle. Barrymore couldn't contain her surprise but admitted she had a feeling about the surprise.

Barrymore's birthday festivities didn't end there. She took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes montage of her celebrating with the crew of her talk show.
