Kangana Ranaut is one of the controversial Bollywood actresses who always make it to headlines for her harsh remarks and bold attitude. The actress not only addresses issues linked to the film industry but also shares opinions on all state affairs. Despite being faced with social media backlash and consequences in the past, she continues to proactively engage in presenting her views. In the latest development, the actress was slammed for supporting comedian and Lock Upp contestant Munawar Faruqui and challenged for making her upcoming film, Emergency a hit.

A Twitter user on Tuesday night expressed apprehensions about Kangana's upcoming film Emergency. The user also blamed her for supporting Munawar Faruqui’s career even after he was arrested for hurting religious sentiments. “Munnavar Faruqui who made lewd comments on our Shri Ram and Maa Sita, Hindus got his show canceled, but you supported his sinking career by calling him in lockup and made him a winner, now tell him only to make your film a hit.” Soon after, Kangana gave a befitting reply saying that she takes decisions free from greed, hatred, and ego.

“Shri Krishna has said in Shrimad Bhagwat Gita, the man who takes decisions by being neutral, is ready on the path of religion, no one can deviate me from my religion, neither the fear of losing nor the greed of winning. I am bound by religion and always take decisions free from greed, hatred, fear and ego,” she replied to the Twitter user. For the unversed, Kangana-hosted reality show LockUpp declared Munawar Faruqui as the winner.

Meanwhile, Kangana is all set to essay the role of Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the upcoming political drama, Emergency. The film also marks her full-fledged directorial venture after Manikarnika. Besides her, the film also has Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Choudhary, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik as part of the cast. The film is expected to hit theatres in October this year.
