Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna revealed that he missed being on the sets after running an extended campaign in the Telugu states during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. With the electioneering ended, Balakrishna is more than eager to get back to work and start shooting for his next projects.

However, Balakrishna regretted that his project didn't go on the floors as planned. "It's all right. Coming to this function in a way has fulfilled my desire to be in front of the camera. I missed the camera for the last 50 days (as I was busy campaigning in elections)," said Balakrishna.

Balakrishna was the chief guest at Friday's event to launch the teaser for the upcoming Telugu movie, Satyabhama. The seasoned actor noted that he was much in love with the title of the movie as he gave a brief sermon on its cultural and mythological significance. He also noted that the title 'Satyabhama' was apt for a woman-centric movie.

Satyabhama is a crime drama, starring Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role. Balakrishna was impressed with the Satyabhama teaser and heaped praise on Kajal. "Her performance in the stunt sequence, her attitude and everything is excellent," he said.

Satyabhama, written and directed by Suman Chikkala, stars Kajal as an honest police officer. It seems like a classic crime story about how the obsession of a cop to solve a case ends up consuming her whole life. The teaser starts with the murder of a young girl. In an attempt to stop the killer, Satyabhama ends up using her firearm. It seems in the heat of the moment, she violates a few stipulations in terms of opening fire and gets suspended. She, however, continues to pursue the case determined to bring the killer to justice. The film also stars Naveen Chandra and Prakash Raj and is due in cinemas on June 7.
