'Nothing short of a blessing': Vikrant Massey and wife Sheetal Thakur name their newborn son Vardaan

Vikrant Massey and his wife Sheetal Thakur welcomed their newborn son on February 7, 2024. Now, they have also revealed the name of their son to the world. The happy parents have decided to name their son Vardaan.

The couple also revealed the reason behind this beautiful name. They said that their son has indeed been a blessing in their life, thus this name. For the unversed, the name Vardaan translates to blessing or a boon in English. The Haseen Dillruba actor’s caption said, “Nothing short of a blessing…We named him VARDAAN.” Take a look at the same.

Sheetal and Vikrant could be seen twinning in light pink ensembles. While Vikrant can be seen wearing a pink kurta, Sheetal looks pretty in a matching saree with dangler earrings. She can also be seen wearing her sindoor and mangalsutra in the picture. However, the highlight of the picture is baby Vardaan nestled in his mother’s lap while wearing white baby clothes. Vikrant can also be seen holding his son tenderly. The proud parents look down at him lovingly. They also shared another picture in the post wherein we see an air balloon stuffed toy carrying an elephant. Vardaan’s name can be seen etched on the same. Well, this is truly heartwarming to witness.

Earlier, on the birth of their son, the couple shared a beautiful postcard with some flowers, leaves, soft toys, a pram, and a milk bottle drawn in the middle. We could see a male and a female adult hand holding the tiny hands of a baby. Inside the postcard, it was written, ‘07.02.2024. For we have become one. We are bursting with joy and love to announce the arrival of our son. Love, Sheetal and Vikrant.’

Talking about Vikrant and Sheetal, they tied the knot in a civil ceremony on February 14, 2022, after dating for a long time. The couple later had a traditional Himachali wedding on February 18, 2022. They announced their pregnancy in September last year.
