Ranveer Singh unveils his wax figures at Madame Tussauds in London, pens a heartfelt note

    Ranveer Singh on Monday shared a series of photos posing with his wax statues at Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. The actor can be seen decked up in a black three-piece suit for the unveiling ceremony. He unveiled not one but two wax statues, one of them shows him in a colourful sherwani and another figure in a black tuxedo with a white pattern and a bow.

    Sharing the pictures, the Bajirao Mastani actor penned a heartfelt note expressing gratitude. “Growing up, I was fascinated by old photos of my parents alongside some of the world’s most famous & prominent personalities, only to realize that they were wax figures at London’s famed Madame Tussauds. The allure of that mythical museum stayed with me, making it surreal to now have my very own wax figure there. Gratitude fills me as my figure stands amongst the most accomplished personalities in the world. An unforgettable moment, compelling me to reflect on the magical cinematic journey that has led me to this moment,” he wrote.

    Soon after, Ranveer’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani co-star Alia Bhatt and Gunday’s co-star Arjun Kapoor liked his post. Anil Kapoor, Mouni Roy and others also loved the post.     Ranveer was accompanied by his mother Anju Bhavnani at the unveiling ceremony. Taking to his Instagram story, he shared pictures with her mother and wrote, “My whole universe #Maa See hw proud she is. God is kind, I am truly blessed.” Meanwhile, Ranveer’s Bajirao Mastani also completed eight years today. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the epic drama also features Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. The Bhansali Productions shared a video with the caption: “An epic tale of Bajirao's bravery, Mastani's resilience, Kashibai's unwavering devotion and a love that transcended all boundaries.     Workwise, Ranveer Singh is all set to step into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, as he will be essaying the iconic character of Don in the Farhan Akhtar directorial Don 3.
