Asif Ali and Biju Menon’s latest film, Thalavan, which hit the big screens on May 24, opened to largely positive reviews from both audiences and critics. They have praised the lead actors for presenting an engaging investigative thriller.

While interacting with the media, Asif Ali was asked for his reaction to the positive comments he has been receiving. The actor thanked the audience for their support and became emotional over the positive reviews. “Thank you all for your support, and please come and watch the film if you haven't yet,” the actor said.

Asif Ali, whose films were doing well, suddenly faced a series of flops which affected his standing as a leading man. His films like Kasargold, Otta, and A Ranjith Cinema, all of which were released in 2023, tanked at the box office, dimming his limelight. However, with the positive reception following the release of Thalavan, the actor has regained his place in the hearts of Malayali audiences, who have been eagerly waiting for a good film starring Asif. It looks like the actor’s efforts have not gone in vain, and with positive word of mouth, Thalavan is expected to become a hit.
