Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu tweeted a poster of the upcoming superhero movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, on Saturday. No, it wasn't to share his excitement about the new Marvel movie, but rather to not-so-subtly claim that the new poster seems like a copy of The Greatest of All Time poster.

Venkat Prabhu, who is writing and directing The Greatest of All Time, remarked, "Wow, another version of #TheGOAT #TheGreatestOfAllTime poster."

The Deadpool & Wolverine poster in question features, well, Deadpool and Wolverine, performing a mid-air stunt. While Wolverine rides the bike off the cliff with his iron claws drawn out, Deadpool sits on the passenger's seat firing at his rivals. If you're a fan of the Deadpool franchise and enjoy its R-rated humor, the poster might strike a chord with you. However, it's not clear whether this is the offical poster from the Marvel or a fan made version.

Interestingly, one of the first-look posters of The Greatest of All Time released a few months ago shares a striking similarity with this Deadpool & Wolverine poster. The Tamil blockbuster's poster features Thalaapthy Vijay in a double role. While the older Vijay rides the bike, the younger Vijay on the passenger's seat fires at his enemies.

In other news, the production of The Greatest of All Time is fast nearing completion. The special effects work on the movie is ongoing, and recently the filmmakers shot at a studio in Chennai. Earlier this month, Vijay and Venkat also visited the Lola VFX studio in Los Angeles to participate in additional shoots for the special effects.

The Greatest of All Time is touted to feature cutting-edge VFX work. The filmmakers roped in Lola VFX studio for their expertise in de-aging technology. While the filmmakers have not revealed much about the film's plot, it's said to be a sci-fi thriller.
