After winning Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp, Munawar Faruqui to participate in Bigg Boss OTT season 2?

A few days before the badass grand finale of Kangana Ranaut ’s reality show Lock Upp , Munawar Faruqui had predicted ‘Trophy toh Dongri hi aaegi’. His wish came true last weekend when he became the winner of the show after receiving the highest number of votes along with the host’s approval. The stand-up comic had begun entertaining audiences from day one in the celebrity prison and by the end he became an absolute fan favorite. Watching him return to his house in Dongri in a BMW with the trophy was a proud moment for his followers.

Well, soon after the show came to an end rumors suggested that Munawar will participate in Rohit Shetty ’s Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 next. Fans were over the moon with joy to hear this but they patiently waited for him to confirm the news like contestants Rubina Dilaik , Rajiv Adatia and Faisal Shaikh . While no official report about Munawar being a part of the stunt reality show has been shared yet, recent buzz has revealed that he has been approached by the makers of another reality show-- Bigg Boss OTT season 2.

The first season of Bigg Boss OTT, a spin-off to Salman Khan ’s popular reality show, premiered on streaming service platform Voot last year in August. Hosted by ace filmmaker Karan Johar , it was won by Divya Agarwal while runner up Nishant Bhat and finalists Pratik Sehajpal and Shamita Shetty got an entry into Bigg Boss season 15.
